1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Feynn AS ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on Heimro (the "Service"). Heimro is a Feynn company.
At this time, we use only a very limited set of strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies required for the platform to function securely. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use analytics cookies for marketing profiling. Some strictly necessary storage may be set by authentication, security, and payment flows.
For more information about how we handle personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They enable core functions such as login, security, and remembering technical states.
We may also use similar technologies (such as local storage or session storage) for closely related purposes. In this Policy we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies".
3. Cookies We Use Today
Heimro is designed with a minimal-cookie approach. As of the date above, we only use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to provide and secure the Service.
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the operation of the platform and cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as:
- Signing in and maintaining your authenticated session;
- Routing your requests correctly between services;
- Providing basic security and preventing abuse.
Legal basis: These cookies are used based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional service and, where applicable, for performance of our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b),(f)).
3.2 No Analytics or Marketing Cookies
We do not currently use:
- Web analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel);
- Marketing or advertising cookies;
- Social media tracking pixels;
- Third-party tracking cookies for profiling or behavioral targeting.
Because we do not use these types of cookies, we do not currently display a separate cookie consent banner.
4. Possible Future Use of Non-Essential Cookies
As Heimro evolves, we may introduce privacy-conscious analytics or other non-essential tools to better understand how the platform is used and improve the product.
If we add analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will:
- Update this Cookie Policy to describe the new cookies and their purpose; and
- Implement an appropriate consent mechanism (e.g., a cookie banner) before setting non-essential cookies, in line with ePrivacy and GDPR requirements.
5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Even though we only use strictly necessary cookies, you can still control cookies through your browser settings:
- Block all cookies;
- Delete existing cookies;
- Configure site-specific cookie preferences.
Blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may cause certain parts of Heimro, including authentication and secure areas, to stop working properly.
